AI Sales Room Engagement in HubSpot Deals
Description: For organizations using HubSpot, AI Sales Room engagement now writes back to the linked HubSpot deal. When an AI Sales Room is connected to a deal, its share link view and engagement counts appear on the deal — either as an automatically maintained note that needs no setup, or optionally as a custom deal property. This mirrors the writeback already available for Salesforce.
Solution & Impact: Reps and managers can see Sales Room activity directly inside HubSpot next to the deal, keeping the CRM as the single source of truth for buyer engagement without exporting data or switching between tools.
Configurable Created By & Products Fields for HubSpot Deals
Description: The Created By and Products fields shown in the Compass deal overview are now configurable from Team Settings for HubSpot, alongside Salesforce. Admins can choose whether these fields appear and how they map, so the deal view reflects the data their team actually uses.
Solution & Impact: Teams can hide or correct fields that were previously fixed and sometimes confusing, giving each organization a cleaner, more accurate deal overview tailored to their CRM setup.
Pipeline Filtering for Salesforce in Compass
Description: Compass pipeline filtering is now available for Salesforce, extending the control previously offered for HubSpot. Admins can limit Compass deal import, stages, and the Kanban board to a chosen set of Salesforce pipelines.
Solution & Impact: Salesforce organizations can focus Compass on only the pipelines that matter to them, keeping deal boards and stage views relevant and free of unrelated pipelines.
Write Back to Salesforce Custom Fields
Description: Compass can now write data back to custom fields on Salesforce records, with the values persisted in the deal snapshot so they stay in sync.
Solution & Impact: Activity captured in Compass can flow into the custom Salesforce fields your team already relies on, keeping the CRM up to date automatically without manual entry.
Exclude Internal Calls from the Call Recorder
Description: Admins can now maintain an org-level list of excluded email domains for the Call Recorder. When every participant on a scheduled meeting belongs to an excluded domain, the Call Recorder skips the meeting automatically. Meetings with any external participant continue to be recorded as normal, and multiple domains are supported.
Solution & Impact: Teams can keep purely internal meetings out of the Call Library and unmatched-calls view, cutting the noise so reps and managers see only the customer conversations that matter.
Close Date Field & Filter in the Kanban View
Description: Close Date is now available as a deal field and filter on the Compass Kanban board. Users can filter and sort their pipeline by the deal's Close Date pulled from the CRM.
Solution & Impact: Reps and managers who prioritize by timeline rather than by created date can now focus on the deals closing in a given window, making it easier to manage pipeline and plan ahead.
Customizable Kanban Stages & Saved Filters
Description: The Compass Kanban board now supports per-user stage customization and saved filters. Users can save the filters that matter to them so they persist across sessions, and stages that return no results during a search are automatically hidden.
Solution & Impact: For teams with many sales stages or multiple pipelines, the board is now easier to navigate — later stages like Closed Won are no longer buried off-screen, and each user sees a view tailored to how they work.
Otter.ai Integration
Description: Otter.ai is now available as a call recorder integration in Compass. Teams using Otter.ai can connect their account so meeting recordings, transcripts, and conversation data flow directly into Letter AI.
Solution & Impact: Reps and managers can bring their Otter.ai calls into the Compass Call Library alongside their other sources, giving them a single place to review conversations, coach, and prepare for deals without manual exports.
