Compass
Compass
Call Library
Description: A new Call Library page accessible via Compass displays all recordings matched to opportunities — with metadata including title, attendees, and date/time — alongside filters, search, sorting, and a dedicated tab for unmatched calls. Clicking any matched call deep-links directly into that call within its deal.
Solution & Impact: All recorded conversations are now discoverable in one place. Reps and managers no longer need to navigate into individual deals to find recordings.
Unmatched Calls
Description: A dedicated Unmatched Calls tab in the Call Library shows recordings that failed automatic opportunity matching. Users can manually match each call to the correct deal or delete calls that aren't relevant to any opportunity.
Solution & Impact: Calls that fail automatic matching are no longer silently lost. Reps can find and rescue any unmatched recording, ensuring complete call coverage across every deal.
Share & Clip Meeting Recordings from Deals
Description: Meeting recordings in the deal meetings tab now offers Share (generate a share link), Clip (open a clipping modal to trim the recording before sharing or adding to a Sales Room), and Delete (remove the meeting and all associated assets from the deal and platform).
Solution & Impact: Reps can distribute and repurpose call recordings directly from the deal view. Clipped highlights can be shared via link or added to an AI Sales Room as standalone content — no downloading or tool-switching required.
Google Calendar Integration
Description: Compass now integrates with Google Calendar and Zoom to automatically link meetings to the correct opportunity records based on participant email addresses. A single meeting can link to multiple deals. Events within a ±90-day window are synced and appear in the Activity and Meetings tabs with full attendee visibility.
Solution & Impact: Meeting context is automatically surfaced on every deal with no manual logging. AI insights are informed by real meeting cadence and timing signals.
Compass Writes to Salesforce Notes
Description: Compass now writes deal framework data — such as MEDPIC fields — back to the Notes field in Salesforce for the associated opportunity. Only the notes section is updated; no other Salesforce data is overwritten.
Solution & Impact: Reps who update qualification frameworks in Compass no longer need to separately copy data into Salesforce. Deal intelligence flows back to the CRM automatically.
Salesforce CRM Notes in Deal Notes Tab
Description: CRM-authored notes from Salesforce now appear in a read-only section of the Compass Notes tab alongside internal Compass notes, giving a unified view in one place.
Solution & Impact: Reps see CRM context without leaving Compass, reducing context-switching and ensuring nothing gets missed when preparing for or following up on a deal.
Improved Recommended Actions
Description: Recommended actions are now generated with full deal context — today's date, close date, days in stage, days since last activity, and Salesforce next steps. Actions are ranked by a weighted algorithm covering close date urgency, deal value, probability, activity recency, risk signals, and stage. Reps can pin priority actions or snooze irrelevant ones. Actions auto-expire when a deal closes, stale actions are flagged after 21 days, and regeneration triggers automatically on stage changes or close date slippage.
Solution & Impact: Recommended actions are now timely, ranked, and grounded in real deal context. Pin, snooze, and auto-expiry controls keep the list relevant and actionable at all times.
Activity History Tab
Description: A new Activity tab on each Deal record shows a chronological timeline of all tracked activity — emails, meetings, calls, and notes — with timestamps, participant names, and links to relevant content.
Solution & Impact: Complete visibility into everything that has happened on an account in a single tab. Faster call prep, easier handoffs, and better deal history at a glance.
Custom HubSpot & Salesforce Field Mapping
Description: Admins can configure custom field mappings for both HubSpot and Salesforce in Compass Settings, controlling how CRM deal fields map to Letter's data model.
Solution & Impact: Organizations with non-standard CRM configurations ensure accurate data sync in Compass without relying on default field assumptions.
AI-Generated Email Customization
Description: Users can add custom instructions before generating or regenerating outreach emails — for example, "Make this more direct" or "Add urgency." A rich text editor supports review and editing, with a before/after comparison and Accept or Reject actions.
Solution & Impact: AI-drafted emails match each rep's communication style and deal context. Full control over the final message before it's sent.
Personalized Email Writing Style
Description: Users can opt in to writing style personalization, allowing Letter AI to extract tone, structure, and length patterns from their past emails and apply those learned patterns to future AI-generated outreach. The feature requires explicit consent and can be toggled on or off at any time.
Solution & Impact: AI-generated emails now sound like they were written by the rep, not a generic AI. Personalization improves reply rates and reduces the editing burden while keeping the rep fully in control of when and how the feature is active.
Global Refresh & Stale Insights Indicators
Description: A Global Refresh button in the deal header lets users manually pull the latest Salesforce and meeting data and regenerate AI insights. A confirmation modal prevents accidental overwrites. Deal cards in the pipeline view now display warning icons when insights are stale.
Solution & Impact: Users have deliberate control over insight refresh. Stale indicators surface the deals that need attention at a glance.

Change Question Type with Regenerate with AI
Description: Creators can now change a question's type — for example, from a puzzle to multiple choice — directly in the Regenerate with AI feature using natural language input. A "Change question type" suggestion button is also available for quick access. Existing question content is preserved for the new format unless the user specifies otherwise.
Solution & Impact: Reformatting questions previously required deleting and recreating them from scratch. Creators can now switch question types instantly in context, preserving their work and making it faster to iterate on course content.
AI Sales Rooms
Contextual Rich Text Editor in AI Sales Rooms
Description: A contextual rich text editor now appears on hover over text blocks in AI Sales Rooms and Internal Landing Pages, allowing creators to format text inline without navigating to a separate toolbar.
Solution & Impact: Formatting text in AI Sales Rooms is now faster and more intuitive. Creators can bold, italicize, link, and style content directly where they're working, reducing friction in the content creation workflow.
