Compass

Call Recorder

Post-Call Summary Notifications

  • Description: Reps can now receive the AI-generated summary of a call by email and Slack as soon as the call finishes processing. The notification includes the key takeaway, next steps, and any outstanding questions or requests, along with a direct link back to the meeting in Compass. It's opt-in per user from Settings > General > Notifications, with email and Slack selection by the Admin.

  • Solution & Impact: Call takeaways reach reps where they already work instead of waiting to be found inside Compass, making post-call follow-up faster and keeping summaries searchable in the inbox and in Slack.

Call Summaries and Transcripts Synced to Your CRM

  • Description: Compass now logs call summaries and transcript links to the matching opportunity as fields in the CRM activity records, for both Salesforce and HubSpot. Calls are auto-matched to deals, field mappings are configurable per organization and survive a re-sync, and unmatched calls stay available for one-click linking rather than being dropped.

  • Solution & Impact: Conversation history lands on the opportunity automatically, so teams that run their pipeline reviews in the CRM get the full picture without anyone copying summaries across by hand, and there are no duplicate or orphaned activity records when calls re-sync.

AI Call Insights Written Back to CRM Fields

  • Description: The insights Compass extracts from each call — Next Steps, Competitors Mentioned, Sentiment, and Deal Risk — can now be mapped to fields on your CRM opportunity records. Admins configure each mapping from the Call Insights section of CRM settings, and built-in diagnostics flag any required field that hasn't been created or mapped yet.

  • Solution & Impact: Competitive mentions, sentiment, and risk signals become reportable CRM data rather than something a manager has to read call-by-call — so you can filter pipeline by competitor, build dashboards on deal risk, and trigger your existing CRM workflows off what was actually said on the call.

Multilingual Call Transcription and Analysis

  • Description: Compass now transcribes and analyzes calls in Spanish, French, and German in addition to English. The call language is auto-detected, and the detected language is shown alongside a dropdown so a user can override it and re-run the analysis in a specific language. Summaries, insights, and scorecard evaluations all run in the selected language.

  • Solution & Impact: Global sales teams get the same call intelligence and coaching coverage on non-English conversations as they do on English ones, instead of those calls being recorded but left unanalyzed.

Deal Management

Salesforce Opportunity Team Access

  • Description: Members of an Opportunity Team in the CRM — Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and rep managers — now automatically get access to the corresponding deal in Compass. Access follows the Salesforce record: adding or removing someone from the Opportunity Team grants or revokes their Compass access on the next sync. Synced members appear in the deal's Collaborators view with a badge showing they came from the CRM, and the Kanban board can be filtered between owned and team opportunities.

  • Solution & Impact: Everyone who co-owns a deal can see and work it in Compass without an owner manually adding them as a collaborator — which was impractical at a scale of thousands of opportunities. Opportunity-owner access and Deal Hub totals are unchanged.
