Creating a Document Set
Creating a Document Set
To create a Document Set, navigate to Create Content and select Document Sets. Start by defining the title and description, then upload a CSV using the provided template. Letter will use this information to identify and organize the source content.
Reviewing Content
Reviewing Content
Once uploaded, Letter generates the folder structure from the source and displays all folders, subfolders, and files. You can review the structure and choose exactly which folders and files you want to sync, giving you full control over what content is included.
Finalizing the Document Set
Finalizing the Document Set
Before publishing, configure Document Set–specific details such as the title, description, tags, and thumbnail, which define how the Document Set appears across the platform. You can also apply access and governance settings—including visibility, sharing, priority source, and ownership—that will apply to the entire Document Set and all included assets.
Additional configuration options allow you to control how content is synced and displayed, such as using file names, enabling real-time sync, and defining how web sources are shown.
When you click Finalize, Letter automatically generates metadata and begins processing the upload. You’ll receive an email notification once the upload is complete.
Managing Document Sets
Managing Document Sets
Document Sets appear in the Content Library across table, card, and folder views. Selecting a Document Set opens a preview page in a new tab, where you can review and manage the content.
Available actions include editing details, copying a share link, bookmarking, and updating the icon. To delete a Document Set, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
Document Sets provide a scalable way to bring large volumes of content into Letter while maintaining control, consistency, and visibility across your organization.
