Add Letter-Native Content to Synced Document Set Folders

  • Description: Admins can now add new folders and files, or move existing Letter-native and uploaded content, directly into a synced Document Set's folder structure alongside the real-time-synced files from Google Drive or SharePoint. This Letter-native content stays fully movable and editable, while the synced files remain locked. Documents brought in through the sync also show up individually in the Content Library so they're easy to find and tag.

  • Solution & Impact: Teams can organize their own content right alongside synced content in one structure, instead of keeping them separate, while still being able to tell locked and editable content apart at a glance.

Hide "Open in" and "Save to" Source Shortcuts Individually

  • Description: The source shortcut toggle for an asset can now be split into two independent controls — one for "Open in…" and one for "Save to…" — set per asset from Bulk Upload or the Publish Content step. Both are on by default and this applies across any connected source, not just Google Drive.

  • Solution & Impact: Content publishers get finer control over how users can access an asset's original source, without losing the option to allow one shortcut while hiding the other.

Smarter Search Result Ranking

  • Description: Keyword search now weights matches in an asset's title more heavily than matches in its description or tags.

  • Solution & Impact: Search results surface the most relevant assets first, so users spend less time scrolling past lower-relevance matches to find what they're looking for.

Learning

Assignment Automation Improvements

  • Description: Admins can now view a full activity log for each automation showing who has triggered it, when, and whether the resulting action completed — plus retry options for pending or failed actions. Deleting an automation now archives it instead of permanently erasing it.

  • Solution & Impact: Admins get a clear audit trail to confirm automations are running as expected and follow up on issues, while archiving preserves configuration and run history for future reference instead of losing it on deletion.

Live Learning Enhancements

  • Description: Email distribution group attendees added via Google Calendar or Outlook are now expanded into individual attendees matched to their Letter accounts, with unmatched members flagged and duplicates removed. Admins can also edit the title and date of recurring and cohort Live Learning sessions after creation, with title changes syncing to the calendar invite.

  • Solution & Impact: Attendee lists accurately reflect everyone invited through a distribution group, and admins have the flexibility to correct or update session details without recreating the session.

AI-Generated HTML Blocks in Interactive Learning

  • Description: The HTML block in Interactive Learning courses now supports AI Generate and Regenerate, matching the capability already available for other block types.

  • Solution & Impact: Course builders can create and refine HTML block content with AI directly, instead of writing it by hand.

Settings

SCIM Group to Access Group Mapping

  • Description: Admins can map SCIM groups directly to Letter Access Groups in Settings, with an option to auto-create Access Groups from SCIM or manually map them via dropdown.

  • Solution & Impact: SCIM can now control Access Group membership without requiring any configuration on the customer's IdP side.

HRIS User Property Mapping

  • Description: Admins can connect an HRIS provider on the User Properties page and map HRIS or IdP fields to Letter user properties, choosing whether each property is sourced from the HRIS system or managed manually in Letter. Mappings apply on the next scheduled sync, with a confirmation showing when that will occur.

  • Solution & Impact: User data stays automatically up to date from the HRIS system while giving admins control over which properties remain manually managed in Letter.

HiBob HRIS Integration

  • Description: HiBob is now a supported HRIS integration, letting customers connect their HiBob instance and sync employee data using Letter's existing self-serve mapping flow.

  • Solution & Impact: HiBob customers can set up HRIS sync themselves with no new configuration to learn, reusing the same experience already available for other providers.
