CRM Write Log
Description: Admins and owners can now open Settings > CRM Write Log and see every field Compass has written back to your CRM — deal stage, amount, close date, products, and mapped custom fields, alongside the AI-generated write-backs such as sentiment and MEDDPICC. Each entry shows the deal, the field that changed, its previous and new value, the timestamp, and whether a person or Letter's AI made the change; entries from a person also name the acting user, so a manager's or collaborator's edit is attributed to the editor rather than to the deal owner. Filter by user, deal, field, or date range — the filters combine — and export the filtered set to CSV for a compliance review. A single save that changes several fields produces one entry per field, entries are read-only for everyone including admins, and sellers and other non-admin roles cannot reach the page or its export, including by direct URL.
Solution & Impact: Compass has let sellers and managers write back to Salesforce and HubSpot from inside the product for some time, but the only record of those writes lived in the CRM's own field history — which meant reconstructing who changed a deal, and when, from a different system than the one the change was made in. Governance reviews that needed to cover a tool which mutates CRM data had nothing inside Compass to point at. One thing to keep in mind: the log records writes Compass made and that the CRM accepted, so it is not a complete field history for a record — changes made directly in the CRM, and writes the CRM rejected on a validation rule or field-level permission, will not appear.

Close Date and Forecast Category in the Agent and MCP
Description: You can now ask the Agent when a deal is expected to close and what forecast category it sits in, and get an answer from the same values shown on the deal page. Those fields also come through the MCP server, so an external assistant or internal tool connected to Compass reads the same close date and forecast category your reps see in the product.
Solution & Impact: Close date and forecast category were visible in Compass but missing from the deal data the Agent and MCP received, so any forecasting or pipeline-timing question asked through the Agent — or through a tool built on the MCP server — came back without the two fields those questions turn on, and had to be answered by opening the deal instead.
