Letter Compass

Activity Timeline for Deals

  • Description: One place to see all engagement tied to a deal (emails, meetings, content views, and action completions)

  • Solution & Impact: A deal-level activity feed shows Salesforce emails (with AI summaries), Gong/Chorus calls, share link and AI Sales Room views, and action completions. View activities are surfaced on-the-fly from sessions linked to the deal’s opportunity. A “Populate emails” flow imports and summarizes Salesforce emails for the deal. Users can quickly see recent customer touches without switching tools.

Deal Call Evaluations

  • Description: Store call evaluation results in your database for quick querying and reporting on deal meetings.

  • Solution & Impact: When meetings are evaluated against Compass scorecards, the results are now stored in the database. Each record captures the meeting, deal, scorecard, score, and relevant deal/call details at evaluation time. Evaluations are created automatically for meetings imported via Gong webhooks or manual upload. Users can run reports and analytics on these evaluations without calling APIs directly.

Faster Gong Sync via Meeting Import

  • Description: Gong call sync for Compass deals is faster by indexing calls locally instead of scanning Gong each time.

  • Solution & Impact: New calls linked to opportunities are indexed as they arrive via webhooks, and a backfill can populate historical calls. Sync and transcript retrieval use this local index, so bulk syncs and transcript fetching for deals run faster, especially for orgs with many calls. Users see new calls on deals sooner and experience quicker refreshes when syncing.

Content

Web URL File Upload for Bulk Imports

  • Description: Enable admins/owners to provide a direct web URL to a publicly hosted PDF or supported file type during bulk uploads, allowing documents to be imported without requiring manual download and re-upload.

  • Solution & Impact: Admins and owners can now paste a publicly accessible web URL (e.g., a hosted PDF link) directly into the bulk upload workflow. The system first validates and downloads the file securely before processing it as part of the upload. This streamlines document ingestion for externally hosted content, reduces manual steps, minimizes upload friction, and improves efficiency when migrating or importing large volumes of online documents.

Learning

At-Least-One Module Track Requirement

  • Description: Allow admins to require completion of a subset of modules within a track instead of all modules.

  • Solution & Impact: Admins can set “[X] of X modules” as the completion rule (defaulting to all). Learners see clear messaging, progress updates, and visual indicators for required, completed, and optional modules. This adds flexibility while maintaining structured track requirements.

Configurable Reveal of Correct Responses in Self-Paced Courses

  • Description: Allow admins to control whether learners see the correct answer after an incorrect submission in Self-Paced courses.

  • Solution & Impact: A new “Reveal correct response” checkbox appears when Self-Paced mode is selected (default: checked). When enabled, learners see the correct answer after an incorrect attempt (current behavior). When disabled, learners are told their response is incorrect and can retry without seeing the solution. For free-form questions, failing responses receive limited AI feedback. Supported in both SCORM export formats, with all existing courses backfilled as enabled.
